Synopsis

Mitsuha Miyamizu is a high school girl living in the rural town of Itomori, yearning for a life in the bustling city of Tokyo. Taki Tachibana is a high school boy living in Tokyo, juggling school and a part-time job while dreaming of a future in architecture. One day, they both wake up to find that they have inexplicably swapped bodies. As these swaps continue to happen randomly, they begin to communicate by leaving notes on each other's phones and skin, gradually forming a deep, long-distance bond.
