The Dreaming Boy is a Realist

Synopsis

Wataru Sajou is head-over-heels for his beautiful classmate, Aika Natsukawa, and has spent years relentlessly pursuing her. However, after a near-miss with a soccer ball, he has a sudden "awakening"—he realizes he isn't in her league and decides to keep a respectful distance. Ironically, as Wataru starts living a "realist" life and stops pestering her, Aika becomes confused and flustered by his sudden change in attitude, wondering if he actually hates her now. This leads to a reverse-chase rom-com where both characters struggle to read each other's true intentions.
