Synopsis

In an alternate Japan where torture is a legal, regulated corporate industry, Spiritus Co., Ltd. stands out as the "friendliest" company in the business. Cero, a highly-rated part-time torturer known as "Comet," balances his dark job with a surprisingly wholesome office life. Along with his legendary mentor Shiu and new trainees Mikke and Hugh, Cero navigates office shenanigans, client sessions, and company outings. The series juxtaposes the grim nature of their work with the mundane, "homey" atmosphere of a standard part-time job, focusing more on character relationships than the actual gore.
