Synopsis

Set in Japan's Taisho era (early 1920s), Tamahiko Shima is the pessimistic son of a wealthy family who is exiled to the countryside after a car accident leaves his dominant arm paralyzed and kills his mother. Believing his life is over, he retreats into isolation until a young girl named Yuzuki Tachibana arrives at his door. She has been bought by Tamahiko's father to be his future bride and caretaker. Her unwavering optimism and warmth slowly begin to melt Tamahiko's frozen heart, proving that even a "discarded" life can find color and joy.
