Synopsis

The story begins on the 14th birthday of Anna Akechi, a girl living in the year 2027. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she encounters a mysterious pendant and a "space-time fairy" named Pochitan, causing her to time-slip back to the year 1999. In this retro era, Anna meets Mikuru Kobayashi, a clumsy but spirited girl who dreams of becoming a world-class detective. When the Phantom Thieves' Guild begins stealing "Makoto Jewels" (crystallized feelings residing in precious objects), the two girls transform into Cure Answer and Cure Mystique. Together, they run the CUREtto Detective Agency, solving weekly mysteries through deduction and magical combat while Anna searches for a way to return to her original time.
