Synopsis

In mid-21st century Tokyo, the underworld is ruled by mafia bosses who have undergone ether-enhancing surgery to become "Demon Kings." To combat them, the government has legalized bounty hunting by "Heroes"—mercenaries fueled by the performance-enhancing drug E3. Yashiro, a cynical, lazy freelance hero known as the "Grim Reaper," wants nothing more than a quiet life of beer and pizza.
