Synopsis

Set in the Muromachi period of Japan, young Prince Ashitaka is cursed by a demonized boar god while defending his village. To find a cure, he journeys west and becomes caught in a brutal conflict between the industrial Iron Town, led by the ambitious Lady Eboshi, and the gods of the ancient forest. Among the forest's defenders is San, a human girl raised by wolf gods who harbors a deep hatred for humanity. Ashitaka must navigate this cycle of hatred to find a way for both sides to coexist before the forest's Great Spirit is destroyed.
