Synopsis
In the year 2126, the popular VRMMORPG Yggdrasil is being shut down. Momonga, the leader of the top-tier guild Ainz Ooal Gown, decides to stay logged in until the final second. However, instead of being logged out, he is transported into a new world as his skeletal avatar, and his NPC servants gain sentience. Now assuming the identity of the Sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown, he sets out to conquer this new world to find other players and maintain the legacy of his guild, often acting as a "villain" to secure his absolute power.
