Synopsis

Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama is an average middle schooler who happens to be a world-class esper with immense psychic power. However, he views his abilities as a burden and suppresses his emotions to keep his powers in check. Working for a "spirit-consultant" (and charismatic con-man) named Reigen Arataka, Mob attempts to live a normal life and grow as a person. But as his emotional meter creeps toward "100%," the raw psychic energy he holds threatens to explode, drawing him into battles with rival espers and secret organizations.
