Highschool of the Dead

Synopsis

A sudden and lethal pandemic turns the world into a zombie-infested nightmare. Takashi Komuro, a high school student, witnesses the first attack at his school and manages to kill his infected best friend to save his childhood crush, Rei. Together with a ragtag group of survivors—including a kendo prodigy, a military otaku, and a genius snob—they fight their way out of the blood-soaked hallways and into the streets of Japan. Their goal is simple: find their families and survive, while grappling with the breakdown of social order and human morality.
