Synopsis

Shoyo Hinata, a small-statured middle schooler, becomes obsessed with volleyball after seeing a legendary player known as the "Little Giant" on TV. Despite his school lacking a real team, he trains relentlessly. In his first and last tournament, his team is crushed by the "King of the Court," Tobio Kageyama. Vowing to surpass him, Hinata joins Karasuno High, only to find that his sworn rival, Kageyama, is now his teammate. The two must overcome their differences and combine their unique skills to restore Karasuno to its former glory as a national powerhouse.
