Synopsis

In a future where humanity is forced to live in isolated underground villages, a shy boy named Simon and his hot-blooded "big brother" figure Kamina dream of the surface world. After unearthing a mysterious drill-shaped key and a small mecha, they break through to the surface, only to find a world ruled by the Spiral King and his army of "Beastmen." Joining forces with a sniper named Yoko, they lead a rebellion that eventually escalates from the earth to the very edges of the universe.
