Synopsis

In a world where alchemy is a specialized science governed by the law of Equivalent Exchange, two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, commit the ultimate taboo: Human Transmutation. Their attempt to bring their deceased mother back to life ends in disaster—Edward loses his left leg, and Alphonse’s entire body is consumed.
