Synopsis

Set 1,000 years in the future, humanity lives in an isolated, agrarian society where everyone possesses "Cantus," a powerful telekinetic ability. The story follows Saki Watanabe and her four friends as they grow up in the peaceful town of Kamisu 66. However, after discovering a library-like relic from the past, they learn the horrifying truth of how their "utopia" was built on the ruins of a bloody era. As they age from 12 to 26, they are forced into a brutal conflict involving mutated creatures called "Monster Rats" and the dark, hidden laws that govern their society.
