Synopsis

Soma Yukihira has spent his life working at his father's neighborhood diner, aiming to one day surpass his father's culinary skills. His world is turned upside down when his father suddenly closes the shop to travel the world and enrolls Soma in the Totsuki Teahouse Culinary Academy—an elite cooking school where only 10% of students graduate. To survive, Soma must engage in "Shokugeki" (Food Wars), high-stakes cooking duels where students put their reputations and even their enrollment on the line to prove their culinary superiority.
