Synopsis

The 28th film in the franchise shifts the focus to the snowy mountains of Nagano Prefecture. Police officers Kansuke Yamato and Yui Uehara are investigating a violent attack on a researcher at an observatory. During the probe, Yamato begins experiencing phantom pains and "flashbacks" in the eye he lost during an avalanche years prior.
