Synopsis

In a post-apocalyptic future, humanity lives in mobile fortress cities called Plantations to hide from giant monsters known as Klaxosaurs. Children are raised solely to pilot giant mechs called FranXX in boy-girl pairs. Hiro, once a child prodigy, has lost his ability to pilot until he meets Zero Two, an elite pilot with red horns and Klaxosaur blood. Known as the "Partner Killer," she chooses Hiro as her "Darling." Their bond challenges the rules of their society and reveals the dark secrets behind humanity's survival.
