Synopsis

In an alternate timeline, the Holy Britannian Empire has conquered a third of the world, including Japan, which has been stripped of its name and identity, now known as "Area 11." Lelouch Lamperouge, an exiled Britannian prince living in hiding, becomes caught in a terrorist crossfire and meets a mysterious immortal woman named C.C. She grants him the Power of Kings: Geass, an ability that allows him to command anyone to do anything with a single look. Donning a mask and the alias "Zero," Lelouch leads a massive rebellion against his own father’s empire to create a peaceful world for his sister, Nunnally. However, his quest for justice forces him into a deadly tactical chess match against his childhood friend, Suzaku Kururugi, who serves the very empire Lelouch seeks to destroy.
