Synopsis

In a world where Devils are born from human fears, an impoverished young man named Denji survives by hunting them for the yakuza. His only companion is Pochita, a small canine-like creature known as the Chainsaw Devil. After a brutal betrayal leaves him for dead, Denji makes a contract with Pochita, merging their bodies and gaining the ability to transform parts of himself into chainsaws. His newfound power catches the attention of the Public Safety Bureau, a government organization of Devil Hunters. Led by the enigmatic Makima, Denji is recruited into an experimental squad. Driven by simple desires like eating good food and finding a girlfriend. Denji finds himself at the center of a bloody, high-stakes war between humanity and the most terrifying entities in existence.
